Wintek and Quanta are two technology partners which Apple has chosen to develop their upcoming netbook expected in Quarter 3 2009.
Taiwan based Wintek will be supplying the touch panels while Quanta will the manufactturer of the netbook and it’s expected to utilize the iPhone and iPod Touch’s multi touch technology .
In 2008 Apple has filed for a multi touch patent with Wayne Westerman of Finger Works and Mac OS X 10.5 supports multi touch trackpad as in Apple Air.
Wintex has accepted that it’s working with Apple on new products but declined to give any details .
