Just two months ago Apple announced they have reached 1.5 billion downloads and today they are hitting 2,000,000,000 downloads that’s
- 500million in just 2 months or
- 8.3 million downloads a day or
- 347,222 Downloads in an hour or
- 5787 Downloads a min
- 96 Downloads a Sec
and that on 45 million iphone and iPod Touches so the average is 44 Apps per device - That’s it only 44 Apps , I got above 80 apps on my Nokia 5800 and around the same on my other phones .
How much money Apple made from these Apps is not disclosed as much of the downloads could be free , still 2 billion is a landmark achievement , Kudos to Apple
