Nokia has recently announced their two new phones the E75 and 5730 Xpress Music one meant for business and other for entertainment .

At the first glance , beside colors and few extra buttons on 5700 Xpress Music both looks the same with 2.4 inch 16 million color screen and slide out keyboards it’s what’s inside which makes them differ and makes the underdog a winner

The comparison between the two is

Dimensions and Weight

5730 Xpress Music : 112  x 51 x 15.4 mm , 135gms

E75  : 111.8 x 50 x 14.4 mm , 139 g

Winner  Although E75 is slimmer it’s 4 gms heavier then 5730 XPress Music , as the difference is negligable , both are the same

    E75 :  Euros 375 /-

so 5730 with its 33 % lower price then E75 offers better bang for the buck with it’s extra user memory ( 100 mb compared to 50mb in E75 ) and with a better sales package offering double the size of memory card , not to mention extra gaming and media keys leaves E75 far behind .

The Xpress Music Editions although has the heart for entertainment but with a little tweak here and there and some software downloads could be made like a business phone and with a lower price cost , buying software will prove to be inexpensive as compared to E75.

    The underdog wins

      Hi Farhan,

Interesting to see the comparision, however, i think one area missing above is the LOOKS. E75 seems much mature, classy and with the silver steel lining it makes more sense for a business user.

      cheers

Adeel , thanks for the comment , you are right about e75 , it’s looks better suits the business environment but the looks alone cannot justify a underpowered , high prices phone , if the things had been reversed i.e E75 having more base memory or E55′s 600mhz processor the higher price tag could have made sense.

If look is preffered many people won’t ever buy devices with more functionality but the more functionality, the bigger is the phone, thats what I believe that Nokia is obeying the rule all time!
