Exploring Nokia Booklet 3G – The Box Unboxed

I got the Nokia Booklet 3G delivered at my office and it arrived at around 12 pm . You could imagine my impatience , I couldn’t wait to take the box home and see what’s inside although I did took a sneak peek at my office . The day seemed long and the evening finally came and I rushed home with the Azure Blue box to play with all the goodies inside .

Once at home , I setup my makeshift Photo Studio comprising of a Black Cloth and my trusty Olympus 590 Ultra Zoom Camera and started snapping away as the box reveals it’s secrets.

The Box

Nokia Booklet 3G’s box is huge compared to the petite Netbook inside it and almost the same size as a 17 inch Compaq laptop . Following the tradition started from N97 , the top of the box is plain with a silhouette of Booklet 3G Embossed upon the top and Nokia written on it .The front side panel also has Nokia written on it while the Left side has Nokia Booklet 3G printed. The Nokia Booklet 3G’s box is not your run of the mill box , it has a class with the thickness of the board used . If that was not enough instead of opening the top lid style like most of the boxes , the inner case holding the Booklet slides out in a grandeur manner .

Inside the Box

First look at the Booklet 3G and you’ll want to touch it , and hold it in your hands and Nokia has provided the tab to do it so . Lift the Booklet and yet another box is underneath Greeting me with a Hello and they did had me at Hello. Picking up the box , it contains , accessories including WH-205 Wired Non Tangle Headset , Nokia Micro Fiber Cleaning cloth , User Manual and CK- USB twin pin ( Mini Pin and Micro USB) phone charger. Yet no Power Adapter is there .

Nokia has made the full use of the size of the box and cleverly and neatly tucked the Power Adapter at one end and Connecting Cord in the other end of the box .

Only on the adapter I can write a complete post , it’s a work of thoughtfulness. None of the laptops I ever owned be it HP , Compaq , Dell or Lenovo I’ve ever seen such a meticulously designed adapter . Instead of winding the Cord around the adapter , which I often do on my Dell and HP , the Reel design adapter makes winding the cord , neat and easy , and multiple cord holders one on the adapter and the other at the end of the wire , allows one to carry the cord neatly .
