Fring – Communicate for Free

by Farhan on March 5, 2009

Fring is a multi faceted communications software for Nokia S60v2 , S60v3 even S60v5 devices . What’s so special about it , VOIP communications soft wares like Gizmodo , Talkonaut , Skype Mobile are dime a dozen and like Fring they are also free , why bother with it ???

Fring is not your everyday communications software it covers everything Gizmodo , Talkonaut and Skype offers combined and so much more .

Fring offers

what_is_fring_pict

  • Skype -  VOIP unlike Skype mobile which only offers chat ( atleast to me ) and a clear sound even on EDGE
  • Twitter
  • MSN checked for Voice Call and Messaging
  • GTalk
  • Yahoo
  • ICQ
  • AIM
  • Facebook
  • Gmail
  • Orkut
  • Last.fm
  • SIP Phone
  • even Yandex the Russian portal making waves in Silicon Valley ( read it on Fortune)

Installation is very easy and above all free , It’s not network dependent so any where there is a hotspot there’s SKYPE , it also works flawlessly in Pakistan ( tested on Warid EDGE in Karachi )  , Skype sound quality is great .  I’ve removed my all other communications software , it’s Fring for me from now on

You can also download Fring from http://www.fring.com/download/ , it’s preferred method as you can get it as per your phone type .
