Get Wolfram Alpha for iPhone / iPod Touch for Free

So you saw the Wolfram Alpha , liked how it’s work but $49.99 is a bit steep for you , no worries , all the app does is provide you with an  interface where you can enter your query and get the result , do you want to pay $49.99 for only the looks , I don’t think so and thanks to Wolfram Alpha’s own site got a way to get the computational engine for free on my iPhone and here’s the method

Open Safari Browser

Go to www.wolframalpha.com/iphone

click on the Plus sign on the bottom of browser

choose Add to Home Screen

You are all set with Wolfram Alpha on your iPhone / iPod Touch for free

Click on the shortcut on your home screen and start using Wolfram Alpha

The difference between the App and Shortcut on Homepage is only of the looks and interface , the information you will get is the same and both will make use of your phone’s data connection so are you in for paying $49.99 for looks ???

An example of how the shortcut and App display is below , the first snap is of the query ( RIM vs Apple Vs Nokia ) ran through shortcut and second if of the same query ( Apple vs Nokia vs RIM ) through the App , now you decide what you want .
