Good Feelings in Life are Free Courtesy Nokia and UNICEF

by Farhan on December 1, 2009

Keeping up with the tradition as last year Nokia has yet again started the campaign to donate to UNICEF and this time time beneficiary program is  Schools for Africa initiative and Nokia wants you to be a part of it

Just go to http://www.nokia.com/sa1/seasonGreetingsweb/index.jsp

Send an E-Card and for every e-Card opened Nokia will donate to UNICEF with aims to create better education for children, and provide them with a safe and protective environment where they can learn and play.

The E –Card is beautiful , shake it a little and see tiny snow flakes in the globe :)

This year’s slogan is Help Us Transform Children’s Live

Last  year Nokia donated 250,000 Euros for reconstruction of cyclone hit schools in Myanmar /  Burma ,  there is no cost to any of us , all we have to do is send an e-card , remember our loved ones on this festive occasion and spread education amongst Children of Africa.

In my opinion , Nokia’s philanthropic efforts are commendable it’s not only Africa and Myanmar they are supporting , Nokia Pakistan along with Nokia Head Office had been promoting Local Handicrafts from the 2005 Quake Hit Kashmir region of Pakistan and all proceeds of the handicrafts sold at Nokia events are fully used to establish and upgrade lifestyle of Nokia managed villages .

I’m sending one to everyone in my contact list with request to forward it to more , some may not like it , but every click will bring one more child closer to education ,  this is one spam /  chain letter I’ll love to spread
