iPhone 1 Click Tethering Enabled

So you want to tether your Jail Broken iPhone with your laptop , here’s the easiest method to do so .

1)  Using iPhone Browser go to http://help.benm.at/help.php

2)  Browse down to Mobile Configs Generator ,  you can also use pre determined Mobile Configs in the option above but as none were available for Pakistan I had to make my own . In Generator option , enter the APN of your service provider ,  For my network  -  Warid Tel Pakistan it’s Warid -   Browse down , turn on Internet Tethering and click Generate

3) a Config File will be created -  Click on Install , click on Replace and the config file will be installed to you iPhone

4) Go to Main Menu on iPhone , Go to Settings menu , Choose General option , than Network , Than Internet Tethering ,  if it’s off click on it and it will ask you the option of either connection through Bluetooth or USB – Choose One and you are all set

5)  Connect your iPhone to your PC through USB , iTunes will automatically start and you can see the blue Internet Tethering bar on top and you are connected to the internet

The only drawback I find with it is that whenever I connect the iPhone it starts Tethering so if you are not on an unlimited data plan , turn Tethering Off when not in use .

Sometimes the Tethering is lost , for reasons not known to me , for that simply reset the NETWORK SETTINGS only in General Tab to get it back .
