Just 21 hrs from now , Nokia is going to launch their new service labeled Everyone Connects - which Eldar Murtezin tweets as “ Ovi Maps integration with Messaging “
Now when I interviewed Dieter May at MWC 2010 , he told me that Nokia is working on a Map Maker kind of software where the NavTeq Van cannot go such as in Pakistan so what we at SenseApplied think that Nokia is coming up with a service which will enable us to mark our location and send it via message or share on status on Twitter and OVI Chat ( already being done through OVI Maps and Facebook ) and we can also name the location which Nokia can pick as POI’s now all that’s left will be roads so Nokia already has Satellite mapping and with the address and all , they may also get the road map.
A little tricky but Nokia is going in the right direction . Anyway , just 21 hrs from now we’ll know what Nokia has in store for us
