Launch Ideas for Nokia 5800

by Farhan on February 15, 2009

Soon Nokia 5800 will be launched in Karachi , I was not able to attend the  launch of Nokia E71 last year so I don’t know what the setup will be like but being a tech aficionado I do have some ideas of my own which could be used to show the phone  in it’s full glory .

The phone has TV Out make use of it , connect some to 42 inch LCD screens and run different applications on them , a visitor never forgets the big picture

Run movies on one -  Nokia 5800 is launched as Express Music i.e entertainment centric run movie clips like Transformers   , Batman Returns ( especially the part showing Nokia 5800 when Mr Morgan uses it )  , if decency allows Britney Spears ‘Womanizer’ again displaying the phone  , Piryanka Chopra at Nokia 5800 launch in India associating the phone with the stars

Run games like Checkers , Touch Piano , Touch Guitar , Mobile Paint etc for a  ‘ touch experience ‘  and add some speakers to it for a true music experience

Also display Nokia Ovi services like email account , contacts on OVI even Gmail and Nokia Maps ( satellite mode ) to show GPS Capabilities .

Display alternate uses of the phone , I have used my N95- 8GB   as a ‘carputer’  , attach a small screen to it and hook it up with a bluetooth keyboard , you’ll have a full fledge mobile office and a mobile GPS system , you can see the pics at http://senseapplied.com/index.php/more-nokia-n95-8gb-carputer-eye-candy/

Have one showing ‘Inclinometer’ for the accelerometer  and another one running MyPhone changing 5800 into iPhone

I haven’t had the chance to use the phone in person bust the programs I’ve recommended are all available and I’ve seen them being used on the phone .

These are just a few ideas I have of course Nokia marketing has a much better idea on how to use to show the phone but in my words “user experience’ counts load up the phones with applications and let the users experience them .

Suggestingly
