What these phones means for nokia
With the growing market concerns and falling incomes worldwide a feature pack phone with premium materials and cutting edge technologies is what phone companies need to maintain their share , serving the growing middle tier market . where high end phones mean higher revenues and high profit per piece , these mid range phones mean higher volumes and overall increase in profit due to the mass market they appeal . giving the current world scenario , I think Nokia made a wise decision to bin out these phones at he prices affordable according to the segment they cater to meanwhile offering best price feature ratio till to date . now that’s smart thinking l my advice work on more applications for S40 as one of the drawbacks is that not half as many useful applications are available for s40 as they are available for s60 , hopefully with these devices , developers will see the mass market appeal and come up with some new software for S40
Wishing the best to Nokia
