So How many chargers you’ve got lying around ?
I for one have 2 in my room , one spare in my bag , one in my office and one mobile charger in my car , so for 3 phones ( 2 mine and one my wife’s ) I’ve got 5 Chargers , a little excessive don’t you think .
Nokia thinks the same and wants to reduce the charger clutter by announcing N79 ECO sans charger in the smaller size packaging to reduce one’s environmental impact as Nokia says “ Good Things Come in Small Packages
“
The phone is available in UK for £ 319 and Nokia will donate £4 on your behalf to WWF , not bad for you to feel good . As an added incentive Nokia as their previous plain N79 is offering three Express On Covers with the new Black one for N79 ECO which are less “funky” then the one provided with regular N79.
Nokia is planning to implement this strategy in other phones too and like to know your thoughts at “the survey “
What I Think
Nokia , the added incentive for this cost cutting move could be a little reduction in price . A charger on Nokia Site costs £13 while you are contributing only £4 , what about price of N79 with charger and without charger to be same at £319 , you want to promote the ECO have atleast £10 bucks off for consumers to be attracted towards it and also give £4 to WWF what’s that for giving back to the environment .
Just a Suggestion
