Last time it was the Cooler which ate away Nokia lost Ovi Contacts and this time Ovi Maps lost the user’s Favorites data from late February to April . Although Nokia claims most of it is restored but still check what you’ve lost .
Last time the blame fell on Cooler , this time the blame is on a glitch in the system and as Nokia says “ We apologize for any inconvenience this data issue might have caused you. As of Tuesday, April 28th you can get with synchronization your Favourite Places and Routes from the Beta Labs release of Ovi Maps to your device and the process has been simplified.”
So all is well if the end is well , remark your Favs in Ovi Maps and have fun , hey their is a price to pay for betas .
