Pico Projector Phone for $100

Touch Screen Projector Phone for a 100 bucks- sounds too good to be true.

Launched in CES 2009 , Logic Wireless ‘ Logic Bolt’ is a GSM phone with a builtin LCoS based pico Projector with an LED backlight from Butterfly Technologies .which casts images upto 36“ to 64”+

The trial phonel features a custom Java based OS on 100 Mhz MTk 6225 chipset with a 1800 mAH battery but only provide 2-3 hours of talk time . No figures on projecter time given . The phone is also compatible to read MS Offic documents , a 320 X 250 Touch Screen , Bluetooth , GPS and a 3 MP camera .

The current version is the trial run for finding buyers and soon the V2 version will be launched at CeBIT Hannover Germany featuring Windows Mobile and will also feature Dual: CDMA + GSM Quad Band
    – Live Video Conferencing while projecting
    – 4 Times Brighter Projection with Brightness Adjustment
    – Larger touch screen with slide keyboard
    – 3 Mega Pixel Camera with
    – Windows Mobile Software

According to Mr Said of Logic Wireless , T-Mobile will launch the phone projector at USD 100 with 2 Yr ontract while standalone price will be around USD 600 . but T-Mobile is saying that no talks are in progress.

Well the thing will revolutionize the projecter phone technology with pocket size Pico projectors already available in the market this will a most anticipated addition .

Way to go Mr Said of Logic Wireless , I’m waiting for more to come.

    This Phone was totally awesome – there are newer ones out now but this was the first decent micro projector phone going
