Imagine you just left a meeting and on the way realized that you have left your E71 at the Client’s , now if you are a mobile junkie like the phone could contain all sort of sensitive and personal information , what to do , Remote lock it
The Remote Lock feature allows you to send an predetermined SMS to E71 from any number or phone and it will be instantly locked and won’t unlock unless the code is entered further more upon five tries with wrong password , the phone will lock itself for 5 minutes
The setup is very easy
1) Go to Tools
2) Choose Settings
3) choose General Tab
4) Scroll down to Security option
5) Select Phone and Sim Card
6) Scroll Down to Allow Remote lock
7) Enter the Remote Message through which you can lock the phone - have to reenter twice
8) Enter unlock code - Already defined on the Lock Code option above Allow Remote lock
Your’e all set , just send the predetermined message from any phone and the phone and memory card are locked .
