Not everything Nokia introduces is hip and bound to take off and the same happened with their Nokia N810 WiMAx ,
With slow roll out of WiMAX in US ( Only Portland and Baltimore are covered ) and under optimal performance of existing structure . Nokia has discontinued the product and have recalled all stocks from distributors .
Wimax or no Wimax , N810 WiMAX was a good concept , my suggestion is to bring out the stock to Pakistan , here we have two WiMax providers , Mobilink Infinity ( Orascom ) and Wateen ( Warid Telecom , SingTel – Abu Dhabi Group ) sell them at a lower price and we’ll enjoy them with our WiMAX connections. .
