Setting up Email on Nokia N900

Unlike other Nokia phones where the best way to setup Email is through Nokia Messaging and email.nokia.com , for Nokia N900 , Nokia has installed all the email settings builtin in be it AOL , ATT Mail or local Cyber Net , WOL even Brain net email from Pakistan , the same is with every other country , Nokia supports almost all the major ISP and their email settings . 

Setting up email on Nokia N900 is very simple

1)  Click on the email icon on the standby screen to go to email setup ,  the email program will download settings from Nokia server

2) Then choose your country to get the specific email accounts for the region

3) Choose your email provider from Gmail to .Mac or any you have , if corporate email , you can choose other

4)  Enter your login information and click next

5) Account setup complete and start downloading your email

    I don’t show these screens? In US onT-mobile tying to set up Yahoo, netzero, Live, gmail. Wants the actual port #’s etc. Do I need an update? Please feel free to email me with any help!!! I have this great phone that is basically useless because I only can set up mybOVI maail and nothing else!

    i cant get my n900 to work on my yahoo emails at all it tells me my user name n password is wrong

    I cannot connect to yahoo account:(
    Plus i don’t understand how to create my corporate account in n900. I tasks for server names and account types as well. Please help me out on how can i create accoubnt in n900 or what infor i need from my IT dept.

    I set up a gmail account on my Nokia n900 phone and all was well until I started creating New Folders. Now the address seems locked. It won’t let me send or receive. Says gmail last updated on 1/1/11, but I can’t select anything further. I tryed to start over, but it tells me that there is already an account in that name. I can put in a 2nd email address and it is fine as gmail1, but I really want the 1st email address as active. Can I go back to a previous date and remove all and start over. The is there a tutorial on Folders…Thanks.
