Nokia Beta Labs have retired Nokia and Chat and have brought on Contacts on Ovi .

Contacts on Ovi works like Presence Locator and show where you can find your friends , their location and what they are up to , bringing people closer .

the Key features are

• Chat:  IM with smileys and voice and location messages
• Presence: See what your freinds are doing i,e are they available , busy or on phone
• Enhanced presence: You can let them know what you are listening to and boradcast your images

As it’s in Beta Lab , the software is still in beta stage  and more features will be added soon

Nokia as part of their web initiative is coming up with new innovative products , based on location based services and collaboration using the human factor , which in future may translate into  paid web services and increase revenue for Nokia
