At the Nokia World 2011, Nokia displayed a proto type device , which does not rely on touch or keys but on how you bend the phone. Don’t believe us , just watch the video below.

With the current Nokia management which is more practical in their approach then previous phone, we are sure we will see Nokia’s bendable phone coming to life real soon.

Finally the Kinetic scrolling has arrived on Nokia 5800 . I’d been predicting that Nokia will not leave 5800 XM as they still have to sell the Navigation Version and now it has come true , the new firmware is out on OTA update and NSU .

The updated features include ( via S60Blog )

Partial Kinetic Scrolling

Changed UI in the homescreen similar to the 5530XM

Updated Nokia Messaging

OVI Contacts pre-installed

New screen alarm when locked

I’ve yet to test the update myself once I reach home , as I’ve given my 5800 to my mom and moved to N900

Will let you know later in the evening , what I think about it , if you have updated do let us know your experience
